Geocache Description:


A very nice hike that ends in an awesome observation platform....(and a cache !!)

Depending on the time of year, leaves can restrict visibility a bit, but the fairly tall observation platform will always have a great view in one direction or another....

Within 3 ft of the path, but 30 to 40 meters back from the platform.. Tucked behind/under a suspicious looking deadfall, leaning against a tree..... it fits in its spot nicely... please try and slide it back in the same place.

We Love traditional caches, and have tried to make this something we'd lke to find.... a bit of a walk.... a super nice area..... a reasonably sized container.... reasonably easy to find.....

On Royal Botanical Gardens property, it is mandatory to stay on open trails at all times.... they graciously allow us to place caches on their grounds, provided we follow that simple rule.... There are a number of rare and protected species sprinkled throughout the properties, and we can all do our part to protect them !!

Parking options are available depending on how thrifty you're feeling, the amount of time you have, and the other caches in the area you may feel like trying.... fyi... the walk from both 'arboretum' parking areas is likely a nicer one....
