You will need to do this cache during Berkeley's building hours, which change throughout the year, but generally are Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.-10 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 p.m.-10 p.m.
1. Start at the posted coordinates. Find the exact midpoint of the diameter of the semi-circle. There should be four triangles on your right and four on your left. Standing with your toes touching the line and facing the centerpoint of the semi-circle's circumference (north), say something.
2. Do a 180-degree turn. Walk through the doors in your line of sight. Once inside, continue walking forward for about 50 feet until you find a tyrant. Descend.
3. Find the nearest non-human life-forms that are currently alive.
4. Find the red dot.
5. Within a yard of the obvious red dot is a much sneakier "red dot." This is the cache. There is no need to disturb the soil or lifeforms to find it. It is fully in plain sight.
Congratulations to astroalee for FTF!
