Geocache Description:

Castle Point is about a mile from Rockcliffe Beach. From the clifftops there are terrific views of nesting seabirds in spring and summer. Fulmar, Razorbill, Cormorant and Peregrine can all be seen perched on rocky ledges or flying along the coast. You will also see a cairn, which marks the spot where the crew of a schooner climbed to safety in 1866. Their sinking boat finally went down at Rascarrelhe.

There are a couple of options on how to reach Castle Point; you can walk along the road to Castle Point Caravan Site or take the coastal path from Rockcliffe Beach. Parking is available in Rockclffe. Terrain can be a bit muddy and rough on the coastal route so may not be suitable for all. After viewing the cairn at Castle Point, continue through two gates on the path to Sandy Hills. The cache site is just through the second gate ( the one with the signage next to it)

You are searching for a circular tub. When placed it contained a logbook, pencil, some swaps and some biscuits for geohounds.
As a bonus, please answer the following question:- Who replaced the information board at Castle Point and when?
