Geocache Description:

A hunt for the last gravestone will be your adventure.

This is the site of the city of Elgin's first grave yard.  The site contained as many as 3500 graves.  Many but not all of the bodies were moved before the cemetery closed in 1945.   While excavating for Channing school, many caskets and bodies were uncovered.  There is one gravestone left and this cache's purpose is to take you there.  This cache is a traditional cache.  Good luck! Please re-hide exactly as you find it.
