Geocache Description:


Part of The Great Tree cache series, this is the third cache of four based on the main characters in the books from the junior fiction series The Legend of the Guardians written by Kathryn Lasky. Gylfie is an elf owl -- a tiny female owl who proves to be much braver and stronger than her size would lead you to think.


Parking is available near GZ, which might make a good parking base for the first three caches in this series. ETA 4/6/14 - Due to a random act of bad recordkeeping (!), the new logsheets inside all four Great Tree caches have different sets of puzzle coordinates than those found previously. If you have logged finds for all four Gahoole caches and are still missing puzzle pieces for the final stage, contact the CO and we'll help!
