Thatch-Westfall Traditional Cache

This cache has been placed in honor of a Carlsbad couple who are moving many miles away. We were asked to take a family picture in front of a Carlsbad landmark for their going away scrapbook. Instead, I decided to make my own "landmark". We stocked the cache full of items that represent J and T.
This cache is located along the Ocotillo Trail. The Ocotillos are currently in full Spring bloom. If you drive behind the NMSU campus buildings, you will see the trailhead. There is no need to go off trail for this one, but still be careful of desert creatures and plants. The container is about peanut butter jar sized, so nothing too big should be placed in it. Please give something if you take something. And please replace the cache hidden as well as you found it. Congrats to dmcboss and Eileen for FTF!
