Church of St Dochdwy Originally one of a trio of Celtic monasteries, the others being Llantwit Major and Llancarfan. St Dochdwy (also known as St Cyngar) founded a small church or cell here in the 6th Century. The church dates from the early part of the 13th Century and built in Early English style. Architectural features of the interior are typically First Pointed Victorian Gothic introduced during the restoration of the church in 1869.
