This is a series for Mrs McGeester. She is the one that brought Geocaching into our lives and we have been having a blast ever since.
Placed this cache on a recent snowmobile trip, so I'm not quite sure what the area looks like during the summer. I'll have to bring the mrs back when the snow melts and the terrain and/or location may be adjusted at that time. The broken tree I put the cache in was at chest level but I could have been standing on 6 feet of snow.
This location grabbed me and I just had to stop. You could see Mt Jefferson along with some other volcanic mounts. Tried to look at Google Earth but it was so much prettier with snow everywhere.
You'll see a tree snapped in half but still attached. The cache is placed on top of the bottom half under the top half.
