The Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park is home to a range of native wildlife including brushtail and ringtail possums, wallabies and kangaroos, red-tailed and white-tailed black cockatoos, while rare and endangered red-tailed tropic birds nest on Sugarloaf Rock.

Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park Yallingup is about a three hour drive south of Perth.
This geocache is located near the Caves Rd. “north corner” of the park, between Dunsborough and Yallingup, a good place for spotting ringtail possums. The bush has a diverse range of wildflowers in spring.
Clues: (Can be solved by a little internet research beforehand)
- Famous surf break at Yallingup, ____ Bears = A
- Year when Ngilgi cave (near Yallingup) was discovered. The third digit of the year is B
- Height of the Cape Naturaliste lighthouse in metres = C
- Length* of the Cape to Cape track in kilometres, much of which passes through the park = D
(*unfortunately there now exist multiple websites which all give different trail lengths. I use this one.)
- Number of letters of the name of the local horse-riding school, which takes tours through the park = E
- Number corresponding to the first letter in the Noongar name given to the Southern Brown Bandicoot, another native of the park (e.g. A=1, B=2, etc.) = F
