Geocache Description:

A series of 10 caches that will make a nice afternoon stroll. Make sure you collect the 3 items of additional information to complete all 10 in the series.



SL1 - Gated Crossing

Park at the Church Hall.

Three of the caches in this series identify additional information required in order to locate the final bonus cache, be sure to take a note of this additional info.

The Sheering Loop is a series of 10 caches set out in a circular 2.5 mile walk.

Sheering is a village in Essex, located on the outskirts of Harlow. With the neighbouring village of Lower Sheering it forms the civil parish of Sheering, part of Epping Forest District. More information is available from the Sheering Village & Lower Sheering News website.

Directions to SL1
- park in the church hall car park
- walk to the far end of the car park and pick up the public footpath
- turn left on the footpath

Note: the footpath just past this cache takes you through a field that may have 2 very friendly horses in, if you want to avoid walking through their field, you can take the left footpath at the bridge, turn right at the end which will take you onto the main road and by-pass the field.
