A straightforward trail on easy going ground, some but not all suitable for wheelchairs and buggies - I did set them on my bike and only fell off once...
Most of it is child friendly but regrettably the last bit back to the start is along the main road.
There is nothing tricky, all of the hides are on or very near to the main paths
This was previously the train line from Garforth to Castleford. It closed to passenger in 1951 and freight in 1969. There was talk as recently as 2009 of reopening the line to help the overcrowding situation in and out of Leeds. Should this ever happen, RM73's D1T5 would need archiving as that viaduct would be back in use!
There are several other caches on and around this route, including the finals for Church Micro 2650…Garforth and A Quick Response In Garforth the latter being particularly worth doing and the route can easily be extended to take in more.
