Located in Preservation Park - Parking is available off of Kortright Rd at the leash free park entrance.
Preservation Park has easily become one of my favourite places to walk in Guelph. While the parking lot off Kortright may look busy at times, once you leave the main trail it is possible to walk for a few hours and rarely see another person. You are likely, however, to see numerous deer - bring your camera and keep an eye out! This cache is located just off the gravel trail that will take you out of the off-leash dog area and further south into the park. While walking along this section with my dogs I noticed a number of red-winged blackbirds and chickadees in the trees just east of the trail. It seemed like a perfect place for this particular geocache.
