Geocache Description:

The cache,  a nano,  is situated approx 100 yds behind the dunes of Football Hole. *PLEASE NOTE - YOU DO NOT NEED TO MOVE ANY STONES ON THE WALL TO SEE OR RETRIEVE THE CACHE WHICH IS VISIBLE WHEN VIEWED FROM THE CORRECT ANGLE*

The cache, behind the Football Hole dunes is approx. midway between The Snook and The Point.
If walking south then please take the time to get to the top of the nearby escarpment on The Point.
You will be rewarded with what is arguably one of the finest panoramic views on the North Norhumberland coastline.
To the North, Beadnall, Seahouses, Bamburgh and beyond.
To the south, Dunstanburgh Castle, Craster, and on a fine day Coquet Island.
To the west, The Cheviot Hills although the view has recently been "changed" by the appearance of the Middle Moor wind farm!

Whilst on The Point please keep to the footpaths as ground nesting birds use the site from April to July
