I placed this cache on my 365th consecutive day of caching (and my 365th day of geocaching.com membership!). You're looking for a camouflaged coffee can at the base of the fence - it can't get any better than that, can it?
This cache is placed with permission from, and in honor of, the property owners Roy and Mauricia who celebrated their 60th Anniversary on April 3, 2013. The cache's namesake comes from a time when I owned a little car with a moon-roof about 15 years ago. My son loved to stand on the console and ride down the long driveway to Grandma's house with his head sticking out of the top of the car. Ah, good times.
You should park in the driveway. Be sure to pull safely off of the highway to search for the cache. Roy and Mauricia enjoy hearing my caching stories and have even been on a couple searches with me. So, if you see them, give them a big wave; they'll enjoy knowing cachers are visiting their cache.
There is a $10 Sporting Goods gift certificate for the FTF, but hurry as it expires on June 15th.
Be careful pulling back out onto the highway as the traffic moves along pretty fast along here. There's a gas station just about 2 tenths of a mile to the West with a convenience store should you need those services. Thanks for visiting and happy caching!
