River Walk Traditional Cache
sueandskippy: Went to check on this one. Indeed, a chain had been hung across the trail with a No Trespassing sign attached. My container was perhaps six or seven feet into the No Trespassing area. I quickly retrieved my container to remove it from the area, and I am now archiving this cache.

This cache is located at the beginning / northern end of the Beaver Island Trail River Walk. There is a green sign that designates the "River Walk." You can learn a little about the history of the Mississippi River and about St. Cloud State University as you read historical markers along the River Walk.
The River Walk is a sidewalk that -- well -- goes along the river behind St. Cloud State. It has a few gradual slopes, but it is handicap accessible.
The cache is a few feet off the main sidewalk, along a pathway. You'll need to go down a couple of steps for the cache. It is not visible from the sidewalk or from Mitchell Hall, the dorm closest to the trailhead. However, stealth is still recommended.
You can bike to this trail, bus to it, or drive to it. As far as parking, there is street parking nearby, but pay attention to the hours / regulations for parking.
Enjoy the trail, views of the Mississippi River, and learning about this area as you search for this cache.
