A series of favorite and recommended restaurants by AlaskaCariboozer and SnowySwan. We hope you will stop in and enjoy the atmosphere and maybe even try some of our recommendations whether it is while you are seeking the cache or another time.
From the GZ, look east and around the real estate building. We couldn't get a cache close enough to the restaurant due to other nearby caches. An old favorite! SnowySwan spent lots of her highschool and college weekends here with friends. It's almost hard to believe it's still here, but believable because it's authentic menu and thrill to the tastebuds. A Must try is the Ultimate Nachos with Shredded Beef. Also try the Basket of Mini Chimis, the Chimi Platter, Sour Cream Enchiladas, Enchilada Trio and the Pollo Fundido. Finish any of these entrees off with a Margarita, Strawberry Daquari, or Pina Colada. They also do virgin drinks! From our family to yours - Buen apetito! Awesome job StacyAK getting the FTF and the hubby off the couch. Yahoo!
