Laurie's Cache Traditional Cache

Dedicated to the memory of Laurie Brickhill, who loved geology, hiking and vistas just like the one that you can see at this cache. It is situated on a view point overlooking the Klip river gorge in Damaraland, Namibia.
It is located just off a walking trail that can be reached from the Lodge nearby. The owners and managers know about the cache so if you are just passing through, mention at the gate that you are looking for it and they will let you up.
The trail to the cache requires decent walking shoes as it is rocky. The cache is not too far from the car park, but take water and a hat with you as it can get very hot at certain times of the years. Take some time to soak in the view which is special.
