Glasnakille: What a view
A short walk to a trig with a fabulous view
Permission to place caches on this land has kindly been given by the John Muir Trust.
Trigointing, and this well-placed trig pillar, is what brought me up here. But I was amazed by the fantastic panorama that awaits: the Cuillin, the Small Isles, the Strathaird Peninsula, and mainland west-coast Scotland. Just superb.
Be considerate when parking on this narrow cross-country road; it is well used.
From the high point of the road, a path leads up through heather to the trig. The cache is not at the trig, but it is nearby.
