As you may have noticed, Northwest River Park is fairly well maintained and you'll see little or no trash laying around. However, we can still find ways to give a little something back to a park that had been very generous to our group and supportive of geocaching.
Details of what we will be doing will be updated, but we will probably be split into several groups. Scope of work may include trail mulching, trail cleaning, painting, etc.
Please note, it is OK to be a little late but this is not a drive-by, a park-n-grab or a drop in for a minute or two event. It is a work event. Wear old clothes and bring work gloves.
We will start at 9:30 am. After the work is done, probably around noon, we will have a pot luck lunch at one of the park shelters. Definite location for lunch to be announced the day of the event. We will have the large group coolers for any dishes that need to be kept cold. The park will be donating ice. I'm sure we can work something out for crock pots if you want to bring something hot. Please give us an idea what you plan to bring.
