Fra Tørresholmen kan du se fyret på Kjeungskjær og det flotte området ut mot Frohavet. På holmen kan du sitte en sommerkveld eller en vinterdag å skue ut mot det flotte havet og skipstrafikken som går forbi her. Solnedgangen er ekstra fin i dette området og det er mye fint lys og farger i himmel og hav, året rundt.
For å komme seg ut hit parkerer du på oppgitt koordinat på Hoøya. Herfra kan du gå langs en privat vei et stykke før du legger kursen lags etter kanten av dyrka mark for så å ta seg fram langs en dike mot holmen. Det går en tange fra diken og det siste stykket mot holmen må du vasse i havet. På flo sjø kan det være greit med støvler. På fjære sjø er det mulig å komme ut hit tørrskodd til Tørresholmen. Sjekk www.sehavniva.no og søk på Uthaug, for å se når det er flo og fjære.
Ta et øyblikk og nyt utsikten når du er her ute. Ta gjerne et bilde av fyret og legg ved loggen din. Det vil resultere i mange flotte bilder med mye farger og vær.

ENG: From Tørresholmen (The dry island) you can see the lighthouse on Kjeungskjær and the beautiful area out towards Frohavet. On the island you can sit on a summer’s night or a winter day to gaze out at the beautiful ocean and the ship traffic which goes through here. The sunset is especially nice in this area and there are a lot of nice light and colors of the sky and sea, all year.
To get to the island, park on the given coordinate on Hoøya. From here you can walk along a private road before crossing the cultivated land and then make your way along a dike towards the island. There is a tang from the dike and the last piece of the island you have to wade in the ocean. At high tide you will need rubber boots. At low tide it is possible to walk to the island dry feet.
Take a moment and enjoy the view when you're out here. A photo of the lighthouse, attached to your log, will be highly appreciated. This will result in many photos with a lot of colors in different weather conditions.
