Geocache Description:

To learn more about a country you need to interact with the people. In this geocache you need to speak to the good fishermen of Tokeh, to allow you safe passage to this hard to reach geocache. The crossing is not for the light hearted, and nor are the burning rocks you will need to cross to reach this place. Nevertheless, the adventure is what counts? Is it not? Be sure to come with you gut and your flip flops (to avoid burning your feet).

Tokeh Islands are small pieces of land, off the coast of Tokeh Beach, along the peninsula below Freetown.

These used to be used as hiding places for the local communities against the rebels during the civil war.

Talk to the fishermen to get safe passage to the bigger island on the left, when you look from shore.

Walk right round the island, to the other side, facing the Ocean. There you will find a man-made rock pyramid below a dead looking tree, battered by the Ocean winds.

There lies the geocache.

Two pointers:
  • Keep going
  • Don't worry about the balance of the canoe
  • Wear flip flops on the island
The Geocache contains a treasure fi for a pirate! good luck!
