This is a paddle cache - it can only be reached by boat, canoe or kayak. Do not try to approach this by wading from nearby trails. The area is sumpy and dangerous.
If you use a row boat, you may find it easier to bring an extra small paddle oar for the last approach to GZ.
Enjoy the solitude and wildlife in this pristine location. At the time I placed the cache, I spotted a Bold Eagle soaring overhead and clusters of frog eggs under the boat.
The cache name is in reference to the 30 hungry beavers which had to be relocated to another Northwest location about 10 years ago. They had multiplied over the years and the lake was just not big enough to sustain all of them.
You are looking for an ammo can easily reached from your raft.
