Placed close to recent and future development, this cache is in an area that seems to be exempt from the earth moving machines operating not too far away. This needed green space separates two sub-divisions between a large and a small park.
The large park nearby has lots of space, a soccer field, a playground and paved trails. The smaller one is great for the little ones and has just enough space for the ample equipment it sports.
In between is a wooded area with some fairly wide trails that would be great for taking the dog for a run... or sneaking away to find a geocache...BTW-BYOP
There are (or used to be I should say) some large trees in this area. The cache is just off one of the trails snaking through this tract of land and should not be seen too easily. I took care not to damage anything too much when I placed the container. I ask that you too respect the fragile surroundings by retrieving the cache carefully and replacing it in exactly the same spot. Those who search the area in the future will be able to enjoy the search as well.
Enjoy this little spot of nature.. a no man's land in between...
Hint added after 2 DNF's before a FTF. Looks like I succeded in my beta attempt at a hard to find cache!!
