This area is the Wharparilla Flora Reserve Rest Area. This is a dedicated Free Camp so you are able to stay a night or so. It is suitable for Caravans and Big Rigs but it has no facilities available. There are many walking tracks through the wet lands and you are likely to see many different birds, spiders and we suggest you keep a good look out for snakes. You will see signs of rabbits, possums and other little critters but up to now we have not encountered any Drop Bears.
We have called this cache David's Free Camp after our 8 year old Grandson as he chose the container and picked out all the goodies to go inside the cache.
Be sure to seek out any nearby caches while you are in Echuca. There are some great ones to find. Please watch your children and pets.
