A quick cache and dash to give an alternative angle on the Skirrid, the eastermost mountain in the Brecon Beacons.
Many people usually only see The Skirrid from the Hereford/Abergavenny road or elsewhere on it's western side which does give you a great profile view, however there is a great view of the steep north end on the Grosmont/Abergavenny road which you generally only really see if you live in that direction. So I thought it would be nice to bring people up here to take in the view.
There isn't just views of Skirrid of course - from here you get good views of the Blorenge and the eastern side of the the Black Mountains.
The cache is a small micro container. Once found please replace appropriately.
There is a lay-by here so you have room to park up.
