Do you remember playing King in the Corner when you were a kid? Neither do I. We played Monopoly, Clue, Rook, War, even Chess. But we never played King in the Corner. But Best Girl did. It was one of her favorite games. Does anybody play card games anymore…other than Texas Hold ’em? Or solitaire on the computer? Does anybody play regular old card games these days? I mean the kind where you actually have to shuffle real cards and deal them out to real people. Card games for fun, not money. Card games like Slapjack or Crazy 8s, or…wait for it…Old Maid. Or even, dare I say it, King in the Corner.
Who knows? Who cares?
Well, as it happens, Best Girl cares. This cache is placed in memory of her dear departed childhood. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find the King in the Corner.
Please replace the cache exactly as found so that those who follow you can share the same experience of mindless tedium.
