A Tócóvölgyi vasútállomást 1991-ben építették. Már az építkezéskor túl volt tervezve az épület, és a folyamatos utas csökkenés következményeként az állomás többnyire kihasználatlan. Az eredeti vonal a városon keresztül vezetett, így megosztva a várost és zavarva a Kenézy kórház betegeit. A város vezetősége úgy döntött, hogy vonalat a város határába helyezik át, és döntöttek az állomás felépítéséről is. A forgalom csökkenése betudható annak is, hogy a közelben semmilyen üzlet vagy nagyobb vállalkozás nem működik.

The railway station Tócóvölgy was built in 1991. Already at the time of the construction of the building was too big. The object is nowadays unused due to the continuous reduction of the passengers. The original line was led through the city, so the city was shared and the trains disturbed the hospital Kenézy’s patients. The city's management decided that the line must be moved to the border of the city and they decided to construction of the station as well. Hereabout there are not shops or companies, perhaps therefore number of the passengers reduces.
