This family friendly cache is a great beginers challange. Hike the well maintained easy trail to the cache which can be reached from trailside. Cache includes a tradable item, Ranger Rick animal clue card and footprint stamp. Try to figure out which animal left the footprint on the stamp. Park is open 8:00 am and closes at sunset each evening. Please follow all park rules while on your adventure.
Walk through the beautiful prairie and along the river Depending on the route you chose the hike can be less than a mile. The trail is stroller friendly and is composed of packed gravel and some grassy paths. The cache container that you are searching for is about the size of a thick paperback book and can be reached from the trail side. The cache contains a log book, pencil,Ranger Rick animal clue card and foot print stamp. This is a Ranger Rick geocache and may be used witha ranger rick passport. See if you can figure out which animal would leave the foot print on the stamp. The park is open from 8:00 am until sunset each day. Please follow all park rules while on your adventure.
