Geocache Description:

Souvenir tags exist in manifold variety and Groundspeak recently introduced a new set of badges from all over the world in celebration of 2,000,000 caches. We thought that this might be a good idea for some new challenge caches. And it is all about the num.. err the souvenirs.

Please check the update for the "August 2013 Souvenir Inflation" below.

The cache is hidden at the published coordinates. But you are only allowed to log it online by proving that you have met the prerequisites for this challenge.

In this context, heaps of thanks to FMZ for the "brain food" concenring this cache - it worked out nicely!

The requirements and rules to log this cache online are:
1. You will need at least 15 souvenirs to be able to log this expert challenge cache online.
2. We differentiate now between country (and state) souvenirs (like e.g. the New Zealand, the France, the NSW or the Florida souvenir) and special event souvenirs (like the Leap Day or the NZ MEGA in 2012). In this case, the visit of the Groundspeak HQ, the original stash or an APE cache counts also as a special event cache souvenir.
3. It is required to fulfill at least ONE of the following options to claim this cache:
3A. THE COUNTRY SOUVENIR EXPERT
From your souvenirs, at least 10 have to originate from countries or states and at least 5 of the badges have to originate from events.
3B. THE EVENT SOUVENIR EXPERT
From your souvenirs, at least 10 have to originate from events and at least 5 of the souvenirs have to originate from countries or states.

In the end, it does not matter if you go for the 10/5 or 5/10 option. You are able to log the cache when you think you meet the requirements. We'll check on your profile if you meet the requirements and will delete any online log which does not meet the rules.
However, we award two virtual FTF prizes (by mentioning the first three on the website). One category for the event expert and one for the country expert. If you have logged the cache previously for one side and have recently met the requirements for the other side, too, just post a note to claim the prize.

UPDATE FOR THE AUGUST SOUVENIR INFLATION
These souvenirs will NOT count for this expert cache. However, you may use them to claim the beginner cache.

If you do not have enough souvenirs, check the beginner version of this challenge: GC491H2.
That’s it. Have fun and go for it!
