Morty’s Meanders – Twixt Henry and the Hoss

Our first geocache, located along one of our walks in East Barsham. This cache is placed somewhere between the Inn (17th century, Grade II listed) and East Barsham Manor (16th Century, Grade I listed), famous for being a stopping point of Henry the VIII when he walked the barefoot from here to Walsingham while on pilgrimage. We thought this an ideal location for a cache as it’s off a main road to the coast and you’ve also got the option to stop off and have a drink or a cuppa before continuing your journey. The cache is a small well camouflaged container holding only a log (so please bring your own writing implement). It may be very busy during the summer months and please be respectful of nearby residents and only try to retrieve this cache between 8am and 11pm. This can be taken as a quick cache and dash or park up if you’re visiting the pub.
