Geocache Description:

The cache is at the posted coordinates but there are additional logging requirements to be able to log the cache as "found". The cache is located 35 feet off the Whitefish River Trails path. Trail starts off JP Road. The path is paved, dogs are allowed on leash. Great spot for a picnic.

9/10ths will maintain the cache! Thanks!

The challenge is to find 10 (preferably 10 different animals or fish) caches that have the name of a fish or wildlife that you would see in Montana.

Montana is definitely one of the "Last Best Places". Part of what makes Montana so special is watching the wildlife and/or fishing the many creeks and streams.

When I was a kid we would go for drives and look for animals and birds often seeing deer, meadowlarks, eagles, grouse and occasionally a bear. Many weekends were spent camping and fishing along those streams catching trout, perch and "suckers".

Naturally, after spending the weekend with the family and going for one of those drives....my sister and I wanted to place a few new caches in the area. I love challenge caches. This challenge is one for cachers to see what they might see or have seen their own geocaching wildlife and fish ride! You may have already met the requirements. For examples see my Bookmark List.

Logging requirements:

A) A link to a bookmark list showing all the caches that meet the requirements;

OR

B) In your log for this cache include the GC number along with the cache name for each of the 10 caches.

You may sign the log at anytime but you must qualify by meeting the geocaching related task of listing your finds prior to posting a "found it" online.

To create a bookmark list for the MT Fish and Wildlife Challenge:
* Visit the bookmark list page (visit link)
* Give the list a name (your choice) and click "Create List"
* Enter a description of the list and choose whether you want others to view it (something like “Find 10 caches with animal names.” Do not add the caches that you found in the description space here—this is to add a description about the challenge bookmark list, not the individual caches.
* Be sure to make the bookmark public for at least 90 days after completion of the challenge.

Congrats to AjaxOne for FTF!
