Campsis radicans Traditional Cache
obax: I give up on this spot, to many kids building too many forts.

Off the trail, but the lawn is flat and mowed regularly.
Bring a writing tool with you. This cache contains a log book and small items to trade. You might be able to cram a Kinder Egg toy in there, but smaller is better. Please let me know if I've gotten the difficulty rating right, or if anything else is off, this is only my 3rd cache and I'm still getting the hang of it.
Note: This has been moved a few metres from the original location. Please let me know ASAP if the coordinates are off, it was a bit cloudy when I moved it and the numbers were bouncing around a bit.
This is hidden off of one of the many trails in the Univeristy of Guelph's Arboretum. I won't say which one, but it should be pretty obvious when you look at the map at the parking area. The trail is quite wet in the spring and slippery in the winter, so choose your footwear accordingly. Parking is nearby at the entrance off the East Ring Road. It's free, but there's a limit of 2 hours. There are lots of people here at all times of year, though the cache is somewhat off the actual path. Bring your dog but it must be kept on leash.
Take a wander through the area if you've never been here before, there are other caches and it's a beautiful spot for an easy walk or a good hike, depending on what trails you take. As you walk along the trail that leads (more or less) to the cache, take note of the trees with the 'Be Aware of the Rare' signs in front of them. Not only do these signs provide interesting information about rare native tree species, but the pictures on them were drawn by my brother and fellow geocacher Zodd95 when he did his highschool co-op here. He didn't get any official credit, so I wanted to hide a cache along here to give him some unofficial, if rather belated, kudos. Look for the Trumpet Creeper sign near the cache, you can see my brother's initials on the bottom of the picture. Note: it is NOT in the Trumpet Creeper, this is a rare species so please don't go pawing around in it looking for a cache that isn't there.
