Geocache Description:

This is an easy cache placed on a piblic footpath near the Holy Trinity church in Haddenham, Cambridgeshire, a village renowned locally for its annual steam rally held in early September.

A church has stood on this site since 673, but the current building originated in the 13thc and like many other churches, fell into disrepair until the Victorians extensive restoration work in 1876. . The building is constructed of rubblestone and ashlar (finely cut) dressed limestone, with leaded roofs and end parapets with nineteenth century gable crosses.

If you haven’t already done so, then you may like to do the nearby interesting and straight forward two-part multi-cache,’ Bier House, Haddenham’ ,GC2N832.

PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE A1421. SAFE PARKING IS AVAILABLE AS LISTED IN THE WAYPOINTS.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
