Geocache Description:

The grounds of Purdysburn are vast and lend host to not only patients and staff but also Conservation volunteers, The Burn riding school and a very busy ambulance station. The outer boundaries are formed by Hydebank prison, farms and more recently housing. All exist harmoniously and the grounds provide a country escape amidst the heart of an extremely busy workplace for most. Allotments, horses grazing and gravel paths make this area a peaceful urban getaway.

The cache is placed in an area traversed by more on horseback than on foot, access is firm underfoot but the GZ may require wellingtons or outdoor footwear. Dogs welcome but on leads when horses are using the path. Parking excellent near the site. Stealth required when muggles strolling nearby.
