Located in the Ionia State Recreation Area by Sessions Lake. Recreational Passport is required for all State Parks. Park in the lot by the Picnic Shelter located by the Boat Launch area and look for the Trail head post marking the Sessions Lake Trail located by the Old Vault Toilets marking Trail #6, follow walking trail to the right.
This is a beautiful scenic walk through the woods overlooking the lake. You may also see deer and turkey in the area. Look for Creek Trail along the same trail.
