Geocache Description:

English Discover the Puppet theater and Puppet Museum of Varna. Currently, the cache is a film cannister. In the heart of the city there is an unique building - a combination between gothic and socialist-modernism. Initially, it was consecrated as evangelist church in 1888, then expropriated by the communist regime in 1961 and extended with stage in mid-80's. Since 1985 it houses the State puppet theater Varna. The same year in the neighbour building, a former school, is opened the Puppet museum - one of a kind on the Balkans and one of few in whole Europe. The whole complex occupies an area of 2440 m² with 130-seats-hall, rehersal room, dressing rooms and puppet museum with 50-seats-chamber stage.

Български В сърцето на града се намира една уникална сграда, съчетание между готика и соц-модернизъм. Първоначално тя е осветена като евангелистка църква през 1888, отчуждена от комунистическия режим през 1961 и разширена с пристройка със сцена в средата на 80-те. От 1985г. там се помещава Държавен куклен театър Варна. Същата година в съседната сграда, бивше училище, е открит и Музея на куклите - единствен по рода си на Балканите и един от малкото в Европа. Целият комплекс се разпростира на площ от 2440 кв.м. и включва зала със 130 места, репетиционна, гримьорни и музей на куклите с 50 местна камерна сцена.

Deutsch Im Herzen der Stadt befindet sich ein einzigartiges Gebäude - eine Kombination aus Gotik und sozialistischem Modernismus. Zunächst wurde es 1888 als evangelische Kirche geweiht, dann vom kommunistischen Regime im Jahr 1961 enteignet und zuletzt Mitte der 80ern mit einer Bühne erweitert. Seit 1985 befindet sich hier das Staatliche Puppentheater Varna. Im selben Jahr wurde das Puppenmuseum im benachbarten Gebäude, eine ehemalige Schule, eröffnet - einzig in seiner Art auf dem Balkan und eines der wenigen in ganz Europa. Der gesamte Komplex umfasst 2440 m² und bietet 130 Sitzplätze, einen Proberaum, Umkleidekabinen und ein Puppenmuseum mit einer Kammerbühne und 50 Sitzplätzen.
