Geocache Description:

Starting in York and Ending on Filey Brigg, the Centenary Way is a wonderful 83mile long distance route, devised to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Yorkshire County Council. It was opened by  Chris Brasher in 1989 to mark the Centenary of the governance by County Councils.

Mr Googlywoogly's hidey hole can be accessed via Both Haxby road and Huntington road. The area can be very muddy at times, but the nearby River Foss never gets this high. The actual location the cache has links with a very famous York company which is just a "Stones" throw away. When hidden, Mr Googlywoogly had 20p for the FTF to buy some "sweets"! P.s. you may need a stick, if he's feeling a bit shy ;)
