Cut Throat Lane Unsuited Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Coachman's Pair: Having given this some thought and with a few visits to GZ I've decided to archive this. Sometimes caches just don't quite work. Thanks to thosr who had a go at it whilst it did remain in situ.

Geocache Description:

This is a nano cache.

Cut Throat Lane is a little used lane that connects Aston Crews with the road to Linton at Burton Court and Farm.  This cache is at the Aston Crews end of the lane.

The name was supposedly given as a result of the lane having a reputation for being the place where 'The Republic of the Lawless' took their wealthy traveller victims to relieve them of their riches, and lives.
If you proceed along the lane you will get some good views towards Ross-on-Wye and beyond.
A small amount of stealth may be required as the road to Linton Ridge can be quite busy at times.
Please be wary of driving down this lane as there are next to no passing places and you may find yourself reversing a long way!!
