Geocache Description:

A great family oriented cache on the magic Island of Tresco the 2nd largets of the Scilly Isles. On Plumb Hill in Abbey Wood.

Along one of the paths on Plumb Hill in Abbey Wood winding through the Rhododendrons you will find an old gnarly pine tree - elevation is ~69ft above sea level.. Look for the old fallen trunk. You then need climb up over the pile of fallen trunks and branches. There is tiny clearing behind the pine tree toward the SW (or on your left when climbing over the logs). Look for a hollow under the fallen trunks. Here you will find the cache. It is supplied with a nice selection of toys and other trinkets to trade. Be sure to stop by the "secret play house" only 25 meters away to the West for a play and a swing. Also admire the great view at the Monument at the top of the hill across to Bryher. The "Mysterious Four" have been enjoying the playhouse for a decade now and hope you will also enjoy this enchanted forest. We released a Signal Geocoin as part of the launch of this caches.
