looking4thebroc: As I cant lay eyes on the cache myself due to being away so I am not 100% certain it is there and with the SWAT team saying it wasnt where it was supposed to be, I am going to archive this one.

Geocache Description:

Located at one end of the new cycle / walking track that follows beside the new Southern Motorway. The track is wide, smooth and separated from the motorway by a fence making it safer for young muggles.

If you continue along the path, you will find that it does unfortunately require crossing Lincoln Rd and a section is missing between Annex Rd and Curletts Rd and so you must follow roads through that area. Although the new path was built alongside the Southern Motorway, it was the Christchurch City Council which paid for the paths, not the NZTA.

Stage 2 of the Southern Motorway includes a proposal to extend the pathway so that it connects with the Christchurch-Little River Rail Trail.

Please return exactly as found and please remember to bring your own pen.
