Great urban area cache near Oakhaven Pond within short walking distance from a number of areas including Pine Glen Park.
Oakhaven Pond is an urban stormwater management pond with some nice walking and viewing spots to see local song birds, jays, cardinals, ducks, geese, herons and gulls.
The middle of the pond is often walkable during drier seasons but it can also turn into an island for days or weeks on end during rainy periods.
The cache is a small lock 'n' lid container. Bushwacking should generally not be required but the kiddies should be mindful of burrs and thorns around the pond in general. The well hidden cache should make the search a little challenging. Watch for muggles and please return to same stealthy spot.
FTF will find a log book, pen, pencil, a few tradeables, a trackable geocoin and TB.
