Geocache Description:

A cache located on the Port Hacking River. The reserve where this cache is found has several recreational facilities

The Swallow Rock Reserve is located in Grays Point on the Port Hacking River. The area has a shallow boat ramp for launching trailer boats, canoes and kayaks, a small beach, barbecues and picnic tables and lots of space to run around.

 

 
I have been here with friends and we had a great time jumping off a large overhanging rock into the river. We decided this rock was the actual Swallow Rock, although that is debatable. Regardless, the cache is located very close to this rock.

Getting to the cache from the shore requires a bit of climbing on rocks, which can get a bit slippery so be careful. And if you plan on making a splash, be aware of the water depth before jumping off the rock. And BYOP!
