The periodic table of elements are those approved by the International Union of Pure & Applied Chemistry.
Bohrium is a synthetic element that is not present in the environment. The German discoverers at GSI proposed the name Nielsbohrium (Ns) after Niels Bohr. IUPAC were happy to name an element after Bohr, suggesting bohrium (Bh) on the grounds that a first name not appear for any elements named after a person. This seems to have been accepted by all concerned. Source: Webelements
