Our third cache in the area. All are on quieter paths. There is plenty of walks in this area with good footpaths and is suitable for children.
If you drive along the A691 and turn on to Shotley Grove Road there is a car park situated at the very end of Shotley Grove Road which is a good point to start. Cross over the new bridge and there is a number of paths that can be followed to arrive at the cache. It can get quite muddy at times so wellingtons or boots is recommended. The path along the side of the river Derwent leads along to near by Allensford with good footpaths for all of the route.
