Ray Traditional Cache

Named after my geocaching friend Ray who had a serious fall while caching in Barbados with us. Beware of slippery slopes.
A series of 6 caches along the "not so" Great Western Railway line. On Dec 15th 1853 the first 2 train cars arrived from Harrisburg. The railway was officially opened on Jan 17 1854 with 12 train cars carrying 700 people from Hamilton to Windsor. During the first 6 months of 1854 more than 13,000 people boarded the trains of the Great Western Railway at the Paris Station. Today you might meet a hiker, biker or lost golfer along this abandoned rail line. These caches are named after 6 friends who have gone geocaching with me in at least 2 different countries. I would recommend parking along the gravel laneway at the corner of Grand River Street and Silver Street. Please do not drive down the laneway or go into the Girl Guide Camp. Thanks to D.A.
