Legendary events, homes and people of Nantucket center around this bridge. On one side, the restored home to Madaket Millie and the creek where she stabbed a 300 pound shark with a pitchfork to protect swimming children nearby. On the other side the former home of Mister Rogers and the Eel Skin Inn, a tiny fishing shack that sold for 1.4 million in 2006 (along with the other 2 buildings on the lot). I remember the Eel Skin Inn as a junkyard with crash test dummies in the front yard...in 1998.
Great sunsets. Check out mother nature taking our island away, bit by bit. On August 7, 2014 Tiger Slash, Flame and I are moving off island to Colorado. We are placing a magnetic travel bug on The Eagle turning the The Eagle into a a travel bug. On that 2+ hour ride you will have plenty of time to find it! Please, don't move it or remove it.
