Geocache Description:

I-275 Bike Trail - Riley Cycle cache is on the I-275 Bike Trail between Hines Drive and the Lake Pointe Soccer Park. There is a parking lot at Hines Drive or at Lake Pointe Soccer Park. You can also view an online trail map on Google Maps. It includes official access points to the trail.

This is one of a set of six caches to extend this section back towards Lake Pointe Soccer Park off Haggerty Road. This section picks up near the Plymouth Township Senior Center. As with the other sections, I am naming them after bicycle manufacturers. This cache is named after Riley Cycle Company. Riley Cycle began as the Bonnick Cycle Company in England. William Riley Jr. purchased the business, renaming it in the process. Soon after the company began motorcycles. In 1902 Riley's sons started an automobile company that eventually was merged back into the main enterprise. Through a series of mergers Riley became part of the British Motor Company, having long ceased manufacturing bicycles.
