4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

A small container in a recently-renovated park in Jolimont.

Dom Serra Grove, in which this geocache is located, is a small, recently renovated park in Jolimont in the City of Subiaco. It is well known for its olive grove, and also contains a large rock with two brass plaques. The attractive renovation plan included espaliered fruit trees on the southern boundary, and also a barbecue which unfortunately hasn't yet made it into the constructed version.

One plaque commemorates the 1500th Anniversary of the birth of Saint Benedict (AD480) and acknowledges that the City of Subiaco, Western Australia, derived its name from the Subiaco Benedictine monastery established in 1851 by Reverend Joseph Serra, O.S.B.

The second plaque refers to a cross, transferred here in 1980 after modernisation of St Joseph’s Orphanage in Wembley.

You are looking for a mint tin.
Muggle traffic is normally quite low, except for the vehicle traffic on Hay Street.

Congratulations to tessalexandra for FTF!!!
