Geocache Description:

La Ward is on St Hwy 172 in southern Jackson Co.  The community was built in 1904 on the St. Louis, Brownsville and Mexico Railway.  In 1940 it had an independent school disrict and a population of 200.  By 2000 the population was still 200.  There's not many caches along this stretch of road so I've decided to add some.  It's a nice little town where I grew up. Log only. BYOP.
