The second cache in the Maladies of Geocaching series
When I found this place, I felt like I had left Australia, and teleported myself to Vanuatu.
I was then torn about how best to use this unexpectedly beautiful spot. The neighbours surrounding this Oasis obviously take care in looking after their common piece of paradise. On one hand I want you to experience it from where I think it looked the best, on the other hand, I don't want you moving rocks, turning over branches, or having to search for a cache under the gaze of the surrounding houses.
Then it came to me - a simple multicache. You need to go to the provided co-ordinates and look for 'The Oasis' sign. it should be very obvious, but to help, it is ~4m up. On the sign there is a two digit number XY. [Edit Feb 22: This sign has become mouldy, one digit should be clear enough, the other is 7+]. The final co-ordinates are .823 + XY, .863 - XY.
GPS is not great at GZ, so I gave a decent hint. With regards to the terrain, yes it is a short distance, but there are at least two spots where you need to take special care. I went down past the end of the steps, then turned right.
Finally, make sure you take a copy of the clue!
P.S You don't ever go onto private property at any stage with this cache - I made sure of that when setting it up.
